Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) is English Language Proficiency Test For Canada Immigration and It is Mandatory and Accepted by most of the English country.
The Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program, abbreviated as CELPIP is a prominent tool used by the Canadian government to assess foreign nationals for their English language capabilities.
This language assessment program is also widely accepted by schools, colleges, professional organizations, employers and other institutions across Canada as a valid proof of the applicant’s proficiency in English language.
Through this assessment program, the candidates applying for permanent residency in Canada are measured and ranked on the basis of their capability to listen, speak, read, and write in the English language.
The CELPIP English examination is conducted by the firm named “Paragon Testing Enterprise” which is a subsidiary of the “University of British Columbia”.
Paragon Testing Enterprise is the sole Canadian firm that works for IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) and fulfils their requirements of English Assessment for applying candidates.
IRCC considers valid test reports from only two English language examinations – CECLIP and IELTS (International English Language Testing System) General Training Test.
There are two types of CECLIP examination tests – CELPIP-General, and CELPIP-General LS.
The CELPIP-General measures the applicants for general proficiency in English language. The pass results from this examination are accepted for applications for permanent residency to Canada and for the Association of Saskatchewan REALTORS (ASR).
The CELPIP-General is appropriate for candidates applying for immigration to Canada under the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Traders Program, Canadian Experience Class, Start-up Visa Program and a few other provincial nominee programs of Canada.
